Privacy Policy
TokyoScaler LLC ("we") handles personal information on this website and in our services appropriately, in accordance with Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other applicable laws.
1. Information we collect
We collect the following information:
- Information you provide when contacting us or applying for a position (name, company, email address, inquiry details, etc.)
- Account information and messages when you contact us via LINE
- Information you provide when contracting for our services, including Google Workspace license sales (company name, domain, address, phone number, names and email addresses of your contact person and administrators, secondary email address, plan and license count, etc.)
- Billing and payment information (billing contact, payment records, etc.)
- Information collected automatically through analytics (identifiers such as cookies, pages viewed, actions taken on this site, device information — none of which identifies you personally)
- Aggregated statistics on age, gender, and interests via Google Signals (only for users signed in to Google with ads personalization turned on — none of which identifies you personally)
2. Purpose of use
We do not use collected information beyond these purposes.
- Responding to inquiries and consultations
- Providing services, concluding and performing contracts, and handling billing
- Procuring licenses and other supplies needed to provide our services, setting up accounts, and providing support
- Sending you information about our services and cloud-related topics (you can opt out at any time)
- Recruitment screening and communication
- Analysis to improve the site and our services
3. Third-party disclosure
We do not provide personal information to third parties without consent, except where permitted or required by laws and regulations.
Some of our services require sharing customer information with the providers and suppliers involved in delivering them. In such cases, we explain this in the applicable terms when you contract, and share the information only with your consent and to the extent necessary.
For example, when you purchase Google Workspace through us, we share customer information (organization name, domain, address, phone number, names and email addresses of the contact person and administrators, secondary email address, plan and license count, etc.) with Google LLC and TD SYNNEX Corporation (Japan) as needed to procure and provide the licenses, deliver technical support, respond to audits, and assist your migration after the contract ends. 4. Provision to third parties located abroad
Google LLC is located in the United States. For information on the personal-data protection regime of the United States, see the surveys published by Japan's Personal Information Protection Commission; for the safeguards Google LLC applies, see Google's Privacy Policy. If provision to an operator located in a foreign country newly becomes necessary, we will carry it out only after completing the disclosures and procedures required by law.
5. Outsourcing
We may entrust part of our operations (sales, customer support, order handling, invoicing, etc.) to external contractors, which can involve handling personal information within the scope required. We conclude non-disclosure agreements with contractors and supervise them appropriately.
6. Transmission to external services
Using this site may transmit information to external providers for site-wide analytics (Google Analytics, including aggregated demographics via Google Signals), embedded maps (Google Maps), and website delivery and analytics (Vercel). See the following for details of what is sent and why.
What you submit through the contact form is processed and stored on Google's services. If you contact us via LINE, your messages are sent through LY Corporation's service and its privacy policy applies.
7. Cookies and similar storage
You can choose whether to allow analytics cookies via the consent banner, and change your choice at any time via "Cookie Settings" in the footer. Your choice expires after about six months, after which the banner is shown again. If it has expired or no choice has been recorded, we treat it as no consent and do not use analytics cookies. If you decline, we delete the analytics cookies and the analytics data already stored in your browser.
Alongside cookies, our analytics records the first page you opened, the articles you read, and how many pages you viewed in storage that lasts until you close the browser tab (sessionStorage). We store it only with your consent, and delete it if you decline.
8. Google Analytics advertising features (Google Signals)
This site has enabled Google Signals, an advertising feature of Google Analytics. For users who are signed in to Google and have ads personalization turned on, aggregated statistics on age, gender, and interests are reflected in our analytics reports. This data is aggregated and cannot be used by us to identify individuals.
This feature combines Google's first-party cookies with third-party identifiers such as Google advertising cookies. Whether these identifiers are collected and used is determined by your choice in the consent banner.
You can opt out of this data collection in the following ways:
- Decline analytics cookies and similar storage via "Cookie Settings" in the footer of this site
- Turn off ads personalization in Google's My Ad Center
- Install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on
9. Security
We take necessary and appropriate measures, including access control, to prevent unauthorized access to, leakage, or loss of collected information.
Our operations also rely on cloud services run by providers located in the United States (Google services, Slack, and the like), so collected information may be stored on those services. For the U.S. data-protection regime, see the commission surveys referenced in Section 4.
10. Disclosure, correction & deletion requests
We respond to requests for disclosure, correction, suspension of use, or deletion of retained personal data in accordance with the law, without delay and after identity verification. Complaints about our handling of retained personal data are received at the same desk. In either case, please contact us via the contact page. Our business name, address, and representative are listed on the commercial transactions disclosure page.
11. Revisions
This policy may be revised as needed and takes effect when posted on this page.
