Sustainability
Sustainability (CSR)
Giving back to society, even a little, through what our business has built. That is how we approach sustainability. With the environment, society, governance, and the SDGs in view, we take it on step by step, in ways that fit a small company.
Our approach to sustainability
Sustainability and corporate social responsibility have many facets — the environment, community, people, governance, and more. The SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) are also an important compass for thinking about where business and society meet.
As a small technology company, we can't do everything at once. So we chose an approach of starting with what we can help with most, and gradually widening the areas we take on. Our current priority initiative is supporting mission-driven non-profits with the IT and DX skills at the core of our business.

Current priority initiative
IT & DX support for non-profits
We support non-profits that struggle to move forward for lack of people and IT know-how, with the IT and DX skills at the core of our business. IT/DX consulting, website and donation-page production, and hands-on Google Workspace setup and adoption support — in principle free of charge.
Areas we want to expand into
- Closing the gap in access to information and opportunity (the digital divide)
- Building an organization where diverse people can thrive
- Creating learning opportunities by sharing our technical knowledge
The following are current intentions; we plan to turn them into concrete initiatives as our business grows.
Our connection to the SDGs
These are the goals most closely tied to our current activities. As the areas we work on expand, the goals we engage with will grow too.
09
Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure
We help build the foundation that lets non-profits make use of technology.
10
Reduced Inequalities
Through our support, we work to narrow the gap in IT and DX (the digital divide).
17
Partnerships for the Goals
We work alongside non-profits to help solve social issues.
We list only the goals that are tied to what we actually do.
Why we start with support for non-profits
Takuma Kida, the representative of TokyoScaler, has been involved in founding an NPO, digitalizing it after establishment, and driving DX at a public-interest incorporated association. Through this, he repeatedly saw that the organizations working hardest to improve society often have the will but lack the people, funding, and IT know-how — leaving them buried in day-to-day operations and unable to move forward.
The IT and DX skills at the core of our business can help these organizations move their missions forward. That is why we chose to begin our sustainability efforts here — starting, steadily, in the area where we can help the most.
Who we support
We support non-profit organizations working, for the sake of others, to make Japan and the world better.
- NPOs and certified NPOs
- NGOs
- Non-profit corporations such as general and public-interest incorporated associations
- Voluntary and citizen groups operating on a non-profit basis
For-profit ventures are outside our scope. We'll hear about your activities and structure, then help within a reasonable range.
What we can do
We lend the IT and DX skills we've built in our core business, in principle free of charge.
IT and DX consulting
We think it through with you, starting from "where do we even begin." From tool selection to workflow and reducing key-person dependency, we listen to the circumstances unique to non-profits.
Website and activity-introduction sites
We build websites that help people learn about your organization and its work, focusing on ease of updating and clarity, in a form that fits your size.
Donation pages and forms
We help set up pages and forms to receive donations and inquiries, supporting the gateway that widens your circle of support.
Google Workspace setup and adoption support
We help set up email, calendar, and collaborative editing. Non-profits can use Google's free program, Google for Nonprofits, directly from Google after the required review (eligibility depends on the organization type and review, so some may not qualify). We support the application, initial setup and migration, and adoption — we do not resell the licenses.
The above is provided in principle free of charge. However, unavoidable out-of-pocket costs such as domain registration and renewal fees are borne by the organization. Our resources are limited, so please understand there is a limit to how much we can take on at once. Depending on the need, we can also bundle several of these together as a package.
For non-profit organizations
Even if you're only at the "could we even ask for this?" stage, that's fine. Please feel free to reach out.
