IT consulting and DX support

We look first,
then we quote.

We do not open with a proposal deck. First, our dedicated team spends a set period inside your workplace and you show us how things actually run. That period is free of charge. From there we map what can be improved, what should be dealt with first, and hand you a plan and a quote. You do not have to decide what to build before you engage us.

Where our clients usually are when they call

  • We don't know where to start, and we have no one to ask
  • Vendors keep sending proposals, but we can't tell which one fits us
  • We have no dedicated IT person, or someone handles it alongside another job
  • We bought the tools, and nobody uses them
  • We've been told to do DX, but no one can say what that means here
  • Our IT person left and nobody understands our setup anymore

What we do

Understanding your workplace (free of charge)

Our dedicated team spends a set period on site, watching how the work actually flows. Documents and interviews alone don't reveal the gap between the process on paper and what people really do. The same people stay with you throughout; we don't rotate them. There is no charge for this period.

Mapping and prioritising the problems

We line up what we found by impact and by effort. That includes what not to do, so you are never left assuming everything has to be tackled.

Choosing tools and SaaS

We don't sell a particular product, so if what you already have is enough, we'll say so. We weigh the cost and disruption of switching, not just the feature list.

Getting the IT groundwork in order

Accounts, permissions, network, security. If onboarding and offboarding currently live in one person's head, we fix that too.

Automation and everyday AI

We cut down the manual work. When something needs building, our own team can carry it straight through.

Acting as your IT desk

We take the IT questions from your staff. Even at a size that doesn't justify a full-time hire, your team has somewhere to ask.

Working with partners where needed

We build software ourselves, but some things sit outside what we do, such as procuring hardware or running cabling. In those cases we bring in a partner firm. We won't claim we can do something we can't, and we name who handles what before the plan is agreed.

How pricing works

The figure itself is agreed with you. Here is how it is arrived at.

The initial period
Free of chargeThe time our dedicated team spends on site understanding your setup. There is no charge for it. You are welcome to take what we find and go no further.
Engagement
Flat monthly feeOnce a plan is agreed and we continue together, it moves to a flat monthly fee. The amount and the scope are set for you specifically, based on what we saw during the initial period. We don't drop you into a preset plan.
Minimum term
Agreed with youWe don't apply a fixed term. DX isn't finished at rollout: it only means something once it is genuinely used and your own people can run it. We estimate how long that is likely to take from what we saw on site, and agree the term with you.
Extra work
Only when it arisesIf something falls outside the monthly scope, such as development, data migration or training, we quote it before starting and invoice it separately. We never add it on our own judgement.
Development quotes
After the problems are mappedWe quote once it is clear what needs building. You are free to take that to other firms for competing quotes at this point, and we'd rather you decided having compared them.

The first consultation is free. Amounts vary with the size of your business and the scope you hand over, so we don't publish a single figure.

How it goes

  1. 1

    Free consultation

You tell us what's difficult right now. It's fine if none of it is organised yet. Nothing is charged up to this point.

  2. 2

Time on site (free of charge)

Our dedicated team spends a set period in your workplace. You show us how the work runs and we find where the effort is going. There is no charge, and we don't push proposals at this stage.

  3. 3

    Plan and quote

We hand you the problems, ordered by impact and effort, as a plan. Anything that needs building is quoted here. You are welcome to stop at this point.

  4. 4

    Delivery and adoption

We start with what was agreed. What we handle and what a partner firm handles is settled in advance. We don't stop at rollout: we stay until it is actually being used.

Questions we get

What happens first? Does it cost anything?
Our dedicated team spends a set period in your workplace and you show us how things run. That period is free of charge. We don't open with a proposal deck or push a tool at you, because until we know what is actually happening we can't tell what would help. You are welcome to take the plan we hand over and stop there.
Can we get quotes from other firms too?
Yes. Take the problems we mapped straight to other firms and ask them to quote. We'd rather you compared and then decided. If another firm suits you better, we'll say so.
What if something falls outside what you do?
We build software and set up IT environments ourselves. Things outside that, such as procuring hardware or running cabling, we handle with a partner firm. Who covers what is set out in the plan. We won't dress up something we can't do as something we can.
What's included in the monthly fee?
There is no fixed package. The scope and the amount are set for you specifically, based on what we saw during the initial period. Day-to-day questions, keeping the problem list current and tool selection are usually at the centre of it, but what belongs in the monthly fee depends on your team and how often you need us. Anything beyond it is quoted before we start.
We have no IT staff at all. Is that a problem?
That is the situation we work in. Most of our clients have no dedicated IT person, or someone covers it alongside another job. Nobody on your side needs to be an expert at the start. That said, we are not aiming for a relationship where you stay dependent on us. We document as we go and build up the people who can handle it, so that in the end your own team can run it.
Is there a minimum term?
We don't apply a fixed term; it is agreed with you. What we work back from is the point where what was introduced is genuinely used and your own people can run it, because that is when it starts to mean something. Scaling back or ending early is something we'll talk through honestly.
Where do you work?
We work online with clients across Japan. If you are in or near Tokyo we can come to you. We work in Japanese, English, Korean, and Spanish.

Start by letting us see what's actually going on.
